Recruiting in Motion is an innovative recruitment firm that takes the art & science of recruiting to a whole new level and we are looking for a RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT specializing in legal positions to join our small Vancouver team!

We are the only Greater Vancouver employment agency to offer our clients a unique 3 dimensional approach to staffing. We provide candidate video clips along with resumes making the hiring process faster, easier, less expensive and more effective than conventional employment agency techniques.

We have 29 offices throughout Canada and the United States and specialize in the recruitment and placement of temporary, contract and permanent employees at all levels of OFFICE, INDUSTRIAL and PROFESSIONAL positions. This position works onsite from within our downtown Vancouver office location.

With the bar set high, and as the pandemic ends, we are ready for rapid growth and our Vancouver office has an opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Consultant specializing in legal who is ready to provide extraordinary guest experiences to both our clients and candidates.

Job Title: Recruitment Consultant - Legal
Reports to: General Manager
Work Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
Location: Downtown Vancouver – 595 Howe Street, Suite 308


The Role:

This Recruiter role specializes in legal placements and will be responsible for full cycle recruitment duties working on legal positions with a host of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to the Federal Government of Canada to the Small and Midsized Business that drive the BC economy. This position suits a mature minded, energetic, smart, articulate, enthusiastic, and proactive individual with a flair for people and customer servicing. Responsibilities

  • Full cycle recruitment towards placing legal candidates into open roles with major global organizations and leading edge companies
  • Building, creating and utilizing recruiting strategies and social media tools designed to identify and source qualified passive candidates
  • Interviewing and evaluating candidates' strengths compared with clients hiring requirements.
  • Negotiating salaries, consulting and advising on fees and other terms and conditions of employment with employers and with candidates
  • Maintaining regular communications with candidates and clients after placements
  • Creating candidate profiles and video clips of job seekers
  • Maintaining candidate filing and candidate document control systems
  • Completing database searches and candidate searches
  • Reference and Background checks
  • Working, assisting and collaborating with a team of Sales Representatives, Recruitment Assistants and Temporary Staffing Recruiters fulfilling our clients staffing needs


Qualifications

  • University Degree or Post-Secondary diploma or equivalent legal recruitment experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Excel
  • Minimum 1 year of experience performing full cycle legal recruitment
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple staffing projects in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Administrative, organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, professional demeanor and appearance, excellent interpersonal skills and personal integrity
  • Friendly, approachable, confident, reliable and outgoing people person
  • Strong web, research, analysis and computer tech savvy skills
