Express Employment Professionals (Cloverdale/Langley)'s client is a privately owned civil contracting company that is seeking an experienced Receptionist / AP / Administrative Assistant. This is a great office/company with a relaxed atmosphere and small admin team. They offer a competitive hiring package along with an annual Christmas Bonus among other perks.
As a successful candidate in this role will have 2+ years experience in Reception, Accounts payable, and Admin Duties. your responsibilities will include:
• Greeting visitors and answering phones
• Addressing emails
• Accounts payable matching, posting in Quickbooks and processing payments
• Photocopying, scanning, data entry and filing
• Ordering stationary and marketing merchandise
• Preparing courier packages and coordinating their delivery
• Archiving previous years accounts payable records and preparing new folders for following year
• Performing any other duties that may arise as directed by the manager
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years administration and accounts payable experience
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with accounting software and MS Office Suite
• Familiarity with Quickbooks and office equipment is an asset
Hours: 8:30-4:30 Monday to Friday
Preffered Starting Wage $20/hr ($41,600 annually)
