We are seeking diligent, proactive, and attentive Receptionists to work with a variety of McNeill Nakamoto's high-end clients across the Lower Mainland, in public and private organizations, some of which specifically support aboriginal communities. We are looking for individuals who can multitask, are exceptionally organized and have the ability to work under stressful situations. Since you will be the first point of contact, you are responsible for greeting visitors and clients properly and helping them by providing information or assisting them to reach the right person or department. 

This is also an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who is looking to transition into a corporate office environment.  

Location: Various across the Lower Mainland – Burnaby, Vancouver, North Vancouver, Richmond, etc.

Term: Full-Time, Temporary and Permanent positions

Responsibilities:

  • Receive visitors at the front desk by greeting, assisting, and directing them appropriately
  • Answer, screen and direct incoming phone calls
  • Receive and sort daily incoming mail
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months’ work experience in a customer service role
  • Previous work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
