Receptionist, ASAP start - #3400-K


Our client, a real estate developer located in Burnaby, is looking for a Receptionist to join their busy team. You are a professional, hardworking individual looking to join an exciting and growing organization. Our client offers a fun, challenging work environment with great supportive company culture. As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, provide exceptional customer service on the company switchboard, and undertake various administrative tasks.

  • Answer incoming calls in a warm and timely manner
  • Greet all clients and visitors
  • Order and set up refreshments and catering for meetings
  • Maintain and tidy meeting rooms and common areas
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail, faxes and couriers
  • Contact service centre for issues
  • Make coffee and tidy kitchens
  • Manage boardroom bookings
  • Prepare and update various reports and databases
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned


Must haves:

  • Minimum high school education with 2+ years of experience in a professional office environment
  • Ability to interact effectively and courteously, in person, by telephone, and in writing with co-workers and clients
  • Exceptional knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Attention to detail and good organizational and analytical skills
  • Flexible attitude and the ability to deal well with changing assignments and priorities
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Professional appearance and demeanour
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
