Our client is a well-established organization operating in the industrial sector, looking for a dedicated and dynamic Real Estate Specialist to join their successful and rapidly growing team. The right candidate has a client-centric approach and superior attention to detail. This role will provide exposure to exciting real estate projects and transactions, in a rapidly moving environment. Location:  Vancouver, BC

Term: This is a 3-year contract position

Responsibilities:

  • Support the team with property management and lease administration activities
  • Be the front-line contact for clients and tenants for all related enquiries
  • Handle negotiations for lease and rental contracts
  • Prepare reports for Management review and documentation – includes drafting proposals and contracts
  • Ensure all manual and online records, documents and files are updated, accurate and intact
  • Manage rental payments and collections
  • Research new revenue stream opportunities
  • Ensure all departmental and business practices adhere to compliance policies
  • Provide assistance to audit team, as needed
  • Additional tasks and special projects, as required

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration; completion of Urban Land Economics Diploma strongly considered an asset
  • 3+ years’ experience in property management ideal  
  • Exceptional negotiation and relational skills dealing with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal abilities
  • Be detail-oriented and have sharp accuracy
  • Have a client-focused approach with calm professionalism and diplomacy
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Keen sense of initiative with ability to work independently and in team setting
