Job Description Summary

Put your laboratory experience, curious mind, and attention to detail to work and join Canada's largest biotechnology company-STEMCELL Technologies-as a Quality Control Analyst. You'll work within a team and be responsible for testing products and raw materials to verify that they meet our strict standards for quality. In this way, you'll contribute to supporting scientists around the world who depend on our high-quality products to perform cancer, immunology, stem cell, regenerative medicine, and other types of research. This is an excellent position to build your science-based career while learning about quality assurance and the regulatory process in the biotech industry.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct rigorous quality control testing of our media and cell separation products
  • Perform data analysis, generate reports, and communicate findings across departments
  • Apply critical thinking skills to investigate deviations and identify improvements
  • Collaborate with your team to support and comply with STEMCELL's Quality Management System
  • Operate specialized laboratory equipment and perform general laboratory and equipment maintenance


Knowledge and Qualifications
  • BSc or MSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry with emphasis on analytical chemistry and 0-2 years of related industrial experience
  • Excellent laboratory skills and experience in performing testing according to QC procedures following strict GMP and ISO regulations
  • Excellent laboratory skills including aseptic technique
