Who- the Company:
Our Client was established decades ago and is well-diversified in that they sell both B2B (business to business) and B2C (business to consumer), with happy customers across Canada including selling to many large companies that will be familiar to most candidates. The Company manufactures a high-quality consumer product. In the last couple years the organization has undertaken a major rejuvenation of the corporate culture which is ongoing. The Company has a supportive and fast-paced work environment, with a focus on their core values and giving back to the community.

What- the Role:
On behalf of our Client, SWIM is recruiting for a new Inventory Clerk who will work on the overall Operations team and support the Manager of Inventory. This is a newly created position due to increasing work volume and business needs.

Responsibilities in this role are diverse and will include process and track weekly inventory counts, forecasting of inventory needs, managing inventory transfers, inventory reconciliations according to inventory schedules with tight deadlines. To a lesser extend you will be responsible for following-up on purchase orders, reviewing freight & brokerage expenses, liaising internally with the sales team and the service team, etc.

Who- the Candidate:
We’re seeking up & coming professionals who are reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to produce good quality work. Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of relevant work experience in inventory with some exposure to purchasing. Good computer systems skills are important (the Clerk will use Microsoft Office as well as an ERP for inventory tracking).  Qualified candidates will have great communication skills (verbal and written), a “can do attitude” and a collaborative approach to work.
Please note this company has ongoing Covid safety precautions at the office and a Covid vaccination policy (2 shots).

How Much:
Base salary commensurate with level of education and relevant work experience- please discuss further with SWIM.

Total compensation package includes:

The Inventory Clerk will be based out of the Company’s corporate headquarters in Burnaby, BC. The office has a gym, showers, and bike lockers. Free employee parking.
