About Our Client

Our client, a company that provides property development and construction management, is looking for an Property Rental Manager join their team in Richmond on a permanent basis. Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintaining records of income, expenses, signed leases, complaints and maintenance.
  • Collecting rent, dealing with late payments, and terminating leases.
  • Contracting and supervising repairs and maintenance work.
  • Addressing tenant complaints and inspecting vacated units.
  • Setting rental rates, negotiating and enforcing lease agreements.
  • Interviewing tenants and running credit checks.
  • Collecting rent on a monthly basis.
  • Acting as liaison between tenants and property owners.
  • Performing tenant screening


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • At least 3 years of office experience mandatory
  • At least 2 years of commercial property management experience is desirable
  • At least 2 years of residential property management experience is desirable
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment
  • Efficient Typing speed (min. 45 WPM) and proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Experience with Maximizer or other CRM Software is an asset
  • Customer service skills and/or experience is an asset
