Growth opportunity for an experience Commercial Property Accountant with a stable company Downtown.
This property management company focuses on a portfolio of commercial properties. With assets in Office, Commercial and Industrial spaces around BC, they continue to grow their portfolio with upgrades and long term investments. Their small Vancouver office is a brand of a larger international parent company. They pride themselves on having built a stable and family oriented environment for their employees, with most of them having been working with them for over 15 years.
They are currently looking for a hardworking and driven Property Accountant to join their team. This role will focus on full cycle property accounting for their portfolio of commercial properties. You will also be processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable . The role heavily focuses on CAM reconciliations, financial reporting, annual budget preparation, variance analysis, and preparing year end working papers.
To be considered for this role you must either have completed your accounting designation (CPA), or be near completion. You must have 3 years of experience in the Property Management industry, particularly within Commercial Property. Strong Excel skills are required for this role. Experience with Sage 300 or Timberline would be considered an asset.
