Our client, a privately owned General Contractor/Construction Management company, is looking to hire a Project Manager to work in their tri-cities based office. For over 50 years this company has been creating a lasting legacy based on quality construction and professional management. With a broad project focus, past undertakings have included large scale institutional works, educational facilities, and a variety of unique special projects.
Your new role
As a Project Manager you will have the opportunity to undertake a diverse range of responsibilities. You will be actively involved in a team of Project Managers and work on multiple projects at a time, typically valued in the range of $1-$50mil. The Project Manager will assume responsibility for all aspects of project execution and work closely with project team members and other stakeholders to identify, develop, implement, and support cost-effective project delivery. The position will suit a hard-working and well organized Project Manager that has a strong attention to detail. You will be actively supported by a team of coordinators and office professionals, and you will therefore be able to offer mentorship opportunities to less experienced members of staff.
What you'll need to succeed
To be the right fit for this role, you will have a technical school education and 5+ years' experience working for a General Contractor in a comparable role. You will be highly organized and able to balance a workload that will include a variety of projects in differing stages. You will be someone who can thrive while working in a fast paced environment, and who is willing to invest time and energy in helping the company thrive. You must have an honest demeanor, strong organizational skills and enjoy working in a collaborative small team environment.
