Currently, Solid Rock Steel is looking for a Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis, overseeing local projects from our office in Surrey, BC.
As our new Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of assigned contracts, working closely with your team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.
As Project Manager, your key responsibilities include:
In order to qualify either the Project Manager role, you must have at least 3 years experience managing steel fabricating or steel construction projects, ranging from $500K to $2M contracts.
Candidates with structural engineering background, some post-secondary, and PMP designation, will be considered an asset but not required.
In addition, a detailing certificate or equivalent (Tekla, Advanced Steel, etc), is highly valued but not a requirement. You will spend 10% of your time doing site visits in the lower mainland, so you must have a valid driver's license to perform these duties.
As Solid Steel Rock's Project Manager, you are the lead liaison for the clients and crew and as such, must possess immaculate customer service skills to clearly draw the lines of communication. You are personable, approachable, decisive, positive, and knows how to assess and mitigate risk while managing competing deadlines.About the Benefits
