POSITION:                   Project Manager

REPORTS TO:            General Manager



The Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring that the company effectively and efficiently delivers profitable projects that meet the needs and expectations of the customer by helping to manage cost, schedule, scope, risk and quality.



The Project Manager is responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring effective and efficient execution of projects
  • maintaining frequent communication with the customer to ensure that the customers needs match the realities of the project
  • Assisting the production team in the planning of the execution of the projects
  • Reviewing and evaluating customer specification documents and working with production to ensure efficient and effective completion of the project
  • Managing and overseeing multiple project simultaneously
  • Supporting our quality management system (ISO 9001)
  • Preparing, analyzing, reviewing, approving and managing project paperwork necessary to manage and document projects through their lifespan, including management of comprehensive and detailed quality documentation 
  • Managing all procurement activities including issuing purchase orders, and sourcing custom components outside of the scope of the company’s standard products
  • Providing documentation and support to the Corporate Services team to ensure accurate invoicing to ensure prompt payment from our customers
  • Managing the coordination of all freight to and from the company and the final destination of goods, including the preparation and tracking of paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments, tracking shipping status and maintaining shipping documentation
  • Developing a well-rounded knowledge of products and capabilities
  • Assisting in the preparation of sales estimates, schedules and other documentation for proposals
  • Executing responsibilities according to lawful and ethical standards



  • Minimum 2 years in a project management role or 5 years in a junior project management role or similar position
  • Prior experience and solid ability with all elements of Microsoft Office including MS Project
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada



  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively, and persuasively
  • Prior exposure to document management systems; previous experience at an ISO company considered an asset
  • Ability to project and maintain a professional corporate image to clients, vendors and fellow employees
  • Self-starter, with the ability to work efficiently in a team or matrix environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, with good organizational, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Quick study, proactive, solutions oriented
  • Innovative and open to new concepts
  • Interested in assisting the growth of the company, increasing efficiency and service, and increasing the effectiveness of the team as a whole
