As a Project Manager within the Customer Solutions Delivery team, you will have governance responsibility for multiple medium-sized, complex projects across BC and Alberta. You will provide overall direction and be accountable for the end-to-end implementation and ongoing management of these projects.Responsibilities:
•Manages all aspects of a project including, but not limited to, scope, execution, and budgetQualifications:Required Knowledge:
•Monitors and controls project plan; conducts status reviews with team leaders and management
•Identifies variances and initiates corrective action to stay on target
•Conducts ROI and customer experience impact reviews on governed programs
•Drives opportunity to manage material expenses through partnership with vendor management and field operations teams
•Reviews third-party engagement in project delivery and cost management
•Resolves and/or ensures appropriate resolution of all business and technical issues
•Identifies and manages risks associated with the project; develops and executes contingency plan
•Negotiates changes in budget with Project Owner and/or management
•Maintains effective communication of status with management and the team
•Solid project management knowledge and methodologies Required Skills & Abilities:
•SAP knowledge and user experience is a strong asset
•Knowledge of telecom infrastructure and planning daily activities is an asset
•MS Office - strong Excel skills Required Professional Designation/Certification:
•Excellent communication skills
•Strong analytical and problem resolutions skills
•Strong time management skills
•Ability to work effectively within a team
•Post-secondary education in Finance, Engineering or a technical field such as Computer Science is an asset Required Experience:
•PMP designation is an asset
