Established BC glazing contractor expanding their team with the addition of a Project Manager
A leading manufacturer and supplier of glazing systems, this organization has supplied product to a wide variety of commercial and institutional construction projects. They pride themselves on providing a high-quality, turnkey service allowing them to successfully complete complex projects. They have also participated in LEED Gold, Silver and Bronze projects. Expansion has created an exciting job opportunity for a Project Manager to join them in the Lower Mainland.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for guiding projects from start to finish. You will be involved in the estimating stage (planning, producing materials takeoffs and submitting proposals) and following award of the job will guide it through design, engineering, manufacturing and installation phases. You will be the main point of contact for clients and other stakeholders and will be expected to review, select and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
You will be experienced managing glass, glazing or building envelope projects and will have a good knowledge of estimating processes in addition to your core project management skills. You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills necessary to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, internal staff and more. Your leadership skills will also come to the fore in this job as you will be required to gain the commitment of several stakeholders in order to complete projects successfully.
