You are very responsible and are capable of supporting the development and implementation of capital and major maintenance projects while taking full advantage of your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You understand that what you say needs to be mirrored by what you do and humility is necessary to gain support and agreement.
You're not looking for a "run of the mill" position; you want a role you'll be able to make your own with an excellent opportunity to span across the pulp business. You're an excellent negotiator, prepared to hammer out vendor contract details, and you excel in both reading and interpreting engineer drawings. Your experience in engineering, preferably in a manufacturing setting, gives you an in-depth understanding of budgets, schedules, and multi-disciplinary design documents. You are a born leader and have successfully supervised both contracts and people.
Ideally, you'll show up armed with an Engineering degree with prior experience in project management. For bonus points you have completed your professional engineering designation or at least working towards completion. A PMP designation would highlight your application but is not necessary to apply.
