Expanding privately owned General Contractor is currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator. The organization undertakes a variety of commercial and light industrial projects ranging from new build office buildings and grocery stores to warehouses and tenant improvements. Projects range in size from $1-$10m and all of the work is local to the Vancouver and Fraser Valley region. The owners of the company take pride in having an honest and communicative style with their clients.
The position will suit a hard-working and well organized Project Coordinator that has a strong attention to detail. You will be working closely with the Project Manager dealing with important administrative duties to ensure projects proceed in an organized and systematic manner. This may include tracking RFI's, coordinating drawings, PO's, project tracking, and contract management. The reputation of the organization is built on long term repeat business and thus strong communication skills are of paramount importance.
To be considered for this opportunity you should have 3+ years' experience working for a construction company in a comparable role here in Canada. Candidates that have been employed as Project Coordinator or Project Administrator will both be considered. You must have an honest demeanour, strong organizational skills and enjoy working in a collaborative small team environment.
