Our client is a large scale builder whose reputation is of the highest standard in the industry. They are looking for a driven Project Coordinator for their upcoming project in the Richmond, B.C area.
Your new role
You will be working on a large scale multifamily residential project in Richmond, B.C. You will utilize your technical construction knowledge to help ensure that the project is completed on time and within the allotted budget. You will be involved in coordinating construction drawings, RFI's and SI's, maintaining an accurate bid list, and liaising on site with the Superintendents in regards to materials control. Comprised of several large towers, and surrounding infrastructure, this project will have multiple phases and is highly complex. There will be significant wood frame, brick, external curtain wall, and cladding elements in addition to the primary concrete structure.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be someone who would appreciate the opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced industry professionals in Vancouver. You must have a technical educational background, and have had 2+ years' experience working in a similar role for a General Contractor or a Developer/Builder. Previous experience working with concrete high rise projects will be considered a valuable asset. The ideal candidate will be open to new ideas and able to process constructive feedback as given. You will be someone who can look at a problem from various angles, and work within a team to provide successful resolutions to issues as they arrive.
