Excel Personnel has been retained  by the largest Landscaping Company in Kamloops to recruit their next Project Coordinator to join their team.

We are seeking for our client current, a star to join their team as a Project Coordinator. The right fit for this career opportunity will have an energetic personality with the motivation to get tasks done, efficiently, on time and on budget!

Your Tasks will include:

  • Scheduling the landscaping teams for upcoming projects
  • Coordinate BC 1 Calls and locates
  • Coordinate project logistics such as portable washrooms, LOA, and deliveries
  • Dispatch our clients snow teams during the winter months
  • Prepare internal and external reports
  • Apply for and obtain permits and licenses where required
  • Assist Project Managers and Operations Manager with landscape projects paperwork as required

Our Ideal Fit will be:

  • Experienced and understanding of the Construction or Landscaping Industry
  • Minimum one year of experience in an administrative supportive role
  • Flexibility in work schedule as snow season will require various hours/days of work
  • Valid driver's license with a clear driving record
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly
  • Experienced coordinating projects and team member schedules
  • Have a Strong work ethic
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans would be an asset
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team
  • Proven ability to problem-solve, mitigate future obstacles, and recommend correct actions when necessary
  • Excellent decision making skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Landscape installation would be an asset
  • Knowledge of LMN software would be an asset
  • Knowledge of varying equipment would be an asset

Salary will be negotiable based on background and minimally will start a junior at : $20.00-$21.00/hr

And Intermediate to Full Experiences at $22.00 - $26.00/hr
