Position: Senior / Intermediate .Net Programmer

Length: Contract (1 year to start, likely continousl

Responsibilities:
  • Contributing to the entire software development lifecycle of analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation
  • Leading and performing data analysis, identifying the gap(s) in organizational capabilities and developing the roadmap to solve the business need
  • Researching, designing, developing, documenting and implementing web-based applications/solutions
  • Transforming functional design in to technical designs
  • Identifying the impact of any modifications to the code base to maintain system stability
  • Developing unit test cases/criteria to verify all functionality adheres to specifications
  • Analyzing, evaluating and test program coding prior to implementation to ensure the application is ready for production operation
  • Correcting any coding errors uncovered throughout the testing phase, and documenting changes
  • Conferring with users and other programmers to determine application goals, or required modifications to existing applications
  • Collaborating with the user community to resolve specific problems or make changes to applications
  • Investigating the root cause of issues and providing a resolution as required
  • Adhering to industry best practices and contribute to internal coding standards
  • Participating in the deployment of new releases
  • Working extensively with other members of our operational team, using analytical and problem-solving abilities to create better solutions
  • In coordination with the Network Administrator and Managing Director maintain the development and production of web servers

Requirements
  • 4+ Years Programming experience
  • Passionate for clients, technology, innovation, and making a difference
  • Advanced experience and knowledge with:
    • C#, ASP.NET, IIS
    • Microsoft Database Platforms: SQL Server 2012 or newer, strong capability in working with stored procedures
    • Microsoft Visual Studio
    • Microsoft Visual SourceSafe
    • Front-End technologies: HTML, JavaScript
    • SQL Server Reporting Services
    • Understanding of project management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
  • Experience in development of RESTful and SOAP style XML interfaces between third party cloud products
  • Experience working with a bug/defect management software such as Jira or Bugzilla
  • Proven track record of effective collaboration across cross-functional teams
  • Effective communication skills and ability to manage ambiguity
  • Strong organizational skills to balance priorities, meeting timelines, budget and high production
  • An analytical mind that takes initiative with a problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, desire to learn, and master technologies & techniques
  • Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science or Technical Diploma in a related field
