Job Description

The Program Coordinator provides overall assistance to the National Credit Card Program and supports the daily operational activities, process enhancements, governance, and performance of the National Credit Card Program. The Program Coordinator is accountable for the administration of the program.

As the ideal candidate, you will be primarily accountable for:

  • Supporting a large volume of administrative and coordination tasks required to help get the program set-up and in an operational state.
  • Supporting the management of various committees through meeting logistics and coordination, minutes, and general administrative support.
  • Maintaining program documentation through document tracking, filing and ensuring matching records with the vendor.
  • Communications coordination through list management for various program audiences, sending out communications via MailChimp, managing webinar logistics, and assisting with other communication logistics as needed.
  • Monitoring the program inbox and responding to basic inquiries and forward on to the Manager or Project Specialist as required.
  • Handling administration of all day-to-day operational tasks of the team.
  • Assisting the program team in the preparation of status reports and other program related documentation.


As the ideal candidate, you possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years work experience as a Project/Program/Communications Coordinator supporting small to medium sized teams.
  • Previous Microsoft Office experience with complete proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and produce high quality documentation for all levels of the organization are a must.
  • Previous experience with Program Management preferred.
  • Ability to administer multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Highly motivated with proven organizational, planning and prioritizing skills, and flexibility to adapt easily in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to establish and manage competing priorities and build excellent relationships to successfully manage changing priorities & key stakeholders.  
  • Highly organized and strong time-management skills.
  • Experience administering communication and webinar tools such as MailChimp and Go-to-Webinar are an asset.
