Professional Development Coordinator in Burnaby

Our client is looking for a temporary Professional Development Coordinator for a 2-month term. This is a full-time assignment based out of Burnaby, but averaging 1 – 2 offsite seminars per week.

 Main Responsibilities:

  • Seminar Administration: Printing seminar material, printing and stuffing name badges, sign in sheets, evaluations, processing group registrations, refunds
  • Facilitating seminars offsite (setup, introduction of speaker and house rules, cleanup etc.)
  • Support staff for facilitating webinars
  • Reviewing webinars prior to publishing on the online learning centre
  • Other administrative support

Main Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role or organization including organizing events, working among professionals, marketing and communication, and/or customer service;
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor;
  • Excellent written and spoken English;
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficient in MS Office; and
  • Knowledge of website applications, and email marketing platforms is an asset.
