As part of the team, you will be responsible for:  

Operating equipment and preparing items for distribution. This role requires a high level of responsibility, honesty, hard work, and Health and Safety attitude. The Production Worker will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism.   

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Preparing and assemble galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum sub-assemblies 
  • Using a wide variety of mechanical and welding machinery to assemble finished products 
  • Sheet metal forming and bending 
  • Conducting regular quality checks to test for non-conformances 
  • Making personal commitment to consistently provide superior candidate experience improve ECCO’s employer brand in the market 
  • Other duties assigned 

Required Skills and Knowledge 

  • Able to read and understand measurements 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English 

Experience level 

  • Able to use handheld and power tools  
  • Experience working with steel and aluminum is considered an asset 
  • Manufacturing/assembly experience is considered an asset 

Work Environment and benefits 

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs   
  • Opportunity for advancement and growth within other departments (General Manufacturing, Shipping) 
  • $1.50 more for joining the health and safety committee 

Premiums for: 

  • Afternoon $0.81/hour  

Availability required/Shifts  

  • Required shift work rotation (day/afternoon) 
  • Day shift: Monday - Friday - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 
  • Afternoon shift: Monday - Friday - 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM
