JOB TITLE:  PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR | #1642

SERVICE AREA:  Vocational & Community Services 

LOCATION:  Vancouver

START DATE:  November 7, 2022

TERM/STATUS:  Temporary Full Time

SCHEDULE/HRS:  Monday to Friday 8:00 - 16:00 // 37.5 hours per week

HOURLY WAGE:  $23.90 per collective agreement 


THE ROLE:  

The Production Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of production including production worker supervision and customer contact, ensuring production targets are met on time and on budget, and accurate reporting and documenting production line & production worker performance. 

Education & Experience:

  • Degree or minimum two-year diploma in operations management, human services, vocational rehabilitation or business administration.
  • Forklift operator’s license or willingness to obtain.
  • Microsoft Office – Word, Excel; familiar with databases.
  • 2 years’ experience in a production warehouse environment preferred.
  • Task analysis and ability to break down tasks and train staff on new projects.
  • 1 year experience working with people with barriers to employment.
  • Experience with project and inventory management.
  • Ability to implement instructional and other support programs for people in a production setting.
  • Superior customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Standard requirements of the Production Supervisor include:

  • Criminal Record Clearance
  • Industrial First Aid and CPR
  • Medical Clearance
  • Demonstrated competency in English written and verbal communication
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Class 5 driver’s license
