There are several machines that this position is responsible to run. All are related to food production and packaging, so loading and unloading raw materials, measuring and following mixing instructions, maintaining the machinery and moving finished product around the facility will all be required. The mixing requires fast basic math skills, and the ability to work with recipes. The job does mean that a person has to be prepared for constant lifting and pouring of ingredient bags of up to 50 lbs to shoulder height or higher, which can be very physically demanding.
