  • Summary:
    The Product Support Representative will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing maximum parts department profitability and sales volumes of assigned Parts and Service accounts within a designated territory. This position continually analyzes customers' operations to obtain future information on parts, service and whole goods sales.
    • Develops and achieves maximum sales volumes consistent with sales projections for assigned accounts
    • Provides value added services with consistent customer visitations
    • Conducts new (cold) sales calls on a weekly basis (minimum one new customer call per week)
    • Monitors operations of assigned accounts, offers advice and assistance when required in areas such as inventory control, available services, new products and/or product enhancements
    • Conducts sales calls with assigned accounts to introduce new products and promotions
    • Provides superior customer service to all accounts
    • Plans territory coverage and manages time consistent with expectations of management
    • Completes customer call report with weekly summarizing of details (to be completed prior to the processing of any expense accounts)
    • Controls personal expenses within the approved budget and submits weekly expense reports
    • Investigates and refers customer complaints to the appropriate Department Manager and/or General Manager
    • Assists counter personnel with orders, deliveries and customer inquiries
    • Assists in annual or semi-annual physical inventory count
    • Becomes familiar with and complies with the company's Health & Safety Manual
  • Requirements:
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) essential
    • Qualification as a Journeyperson preferred
    • Three years related experience and/or training
    • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
    • Forklift Certification
    • Excellent sales skills, preferably in a related field
    • Excellent customer relations skills
