The Product Owner will manage Sophos Home programs and the coordination across most of Sophos’ product teams and products. In addition, the incumbent will support the Sophos Home team through product development: from requirements gathering and planning to managing backlogs, all the way through launch, sales, maintenance, and end of life.
Understand stakeholder requirements and translate them into end-to-end scenarios with detailed functional requirements as key input to the software design process.
Provide stakeholder-centric design consultation to other disciplines during development
Assume product ownership as part of the scrum software development method, engaging deeply in release and sprint planning and validation
Manage alignment of product with other business units to ensure smooth releases and full cycle product management.
Develop deep understanding of target customer and use-cases across entire security product landscape.
Work with Product Management and Engineering to develop use-cases.
Coordinate the tracking, monitoring and analysis of improvements in customer experience within each channel and business unit. Develop system for benchmarking customer advocacy and satisfaction results versus competitors.
Work with partners in their development of initiatives for improving customer experience and meeting established goals.
Experience And Skills
At least 5 years of experience in a product company.
Management of formal product backlogs, including definition and continuous grooming
Knowledge of Software Security products is a desired.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills – ability to communicate across and up the organization including internal communication to gain buy-in on product strategy and technology implementation and deployment.
