This public practice firm practices what they preach, with shortened workweeks in the summer, paid overtime at all levels, and most employees working well under 200 hours of overtime annually. This is a chance to be groomed for partnership at an established firm. You’ll be positioned to replace a retiring partner and take on an existing book of business. You’ll also have ample opportunity and training to bring on your own clients and build your practice in the direction you choose.
This is Vancouver-based Accounting firm with over 100 staff that has been in business for over 30 years. Operating out of three locations, they have a client base that consists of Small Private and Public companies as well as not-for-profits and owner managed businesses, including a significant number from the mining industry.

You will be responsible for managing a wide range of tax engagements for the firm’s multi-entity owner-operator and private enterprise clients. You will work directly with clients to decide which planning and compliance services suit their needs, then work with your team to manage and execute those services. As a future partner, you will be involved in decision-making within the firm, a responsibility that will increase in scope as you prove yourself within the role.
The ideal candidate would be an experienced manager or senior manager at an established firm. You must have experience in tax planning for small and medium business clients, as well as the ability to forge strong relationships to ensure that client needs are anticipated as businesses evolve and change. Business development skills, both in cross-selling and bringing in new business, are a strong asset.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
Paid or banked overtime
Bonus based on individual and company performance
Vacation: 4 weeks
