Due to significant growth and increasing sophistication our client has an immediate need for an accomplished Pricing Manager to join their supply chain and financial operations. The Pricing Manager will report to the VP, Operations and oversee a team of 3. The successful candidate also work with the CFO to implement best practices, amplify the use of technology to streamline processes and elevate the strategic contribution to pricing decisions across the enterprise. With hundreds of SKU's and a high volume of suppliers the opportunity to make a significant contribution is available for a committed and creative individual. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the pricing strategy, planning, analysis & communication for the business
  • Expertise in using internal and third-party data to support end to end pricing process build out
  • Proven expertise and leadership excellence in developing and deploying pricing analytics in business environment
  • Evaluate current pricing processes, programs and environments – leading the effort to streamline and improve current reporting and insight protocols and analytics. Evaluate current frameworks for opportunity and develop alternative pricing frameworks to improve overall profitability
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, offering specific pricing solutions leveraging value through customer and vendor relationships
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies, systems and processes and the operating environment, or equivalent experience
  • Leverage technology to enhance the efficiency of price file maintenance
  • Supervise and oversee a team or pricing analysts, providing appropriate support and guidance to ensure the team works efficiently
  • Be a change agent; striving to improve operating practices continually
  • Develop and manage relationships with vendors and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; experience working with upper-level management

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or Finance is an asset
  • A minimum of 5 years professional working experience, with a minimum of 3 years of proven ability to effectively lead a team
  • A high degree of awareness for supply chain risk analysis and forecasting
  • Demonstrated experience in areas of procurement, sourcing, and management
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and discipline with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
