•Perform a variety of skilled plumbing work at the journeyman level in the installation, construction, alteration, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and/or service of plumbing equipment and systems; •Installs, test, maintain and repair natural gas lines, appliances, equipment and accessories •Inspect and test cross-connection and backflow prevention systems •Review work requests and carry out relevant preventative maintenance, in compliance with applicable codes and regulations •Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment Qualifications:
•Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification Certificate as a journeyman Plumber, •Class B level Gas Fitter''s License with an electrical endorsement recognized by the Province of BC, •Valid Certificate of Competency as a Cross Connection Control Specialist issued by the American Water Works Association, BC Section, •Two (2) years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
