Our client, a leading name in renewable energy with a presence in over 100 territories across BC, is seeking a Planning Scheduler for their Surrey office. What You’ll Do:
Effectively forecast, coordinate, schedule, and monitor PMO capital projects and associated activities.
- Utilize Primavera software to create and maintain comprehensive schedules covering 20-year, 5-year, 1-year, and monthly timeframes.
- Develop and provide critical path schedules for projects and proposals, and address scheduling requests, changes, and revisions.
- Generate workload reports, evaluate project health, and present scheduling status reports to management.
- Ensure the accuracy of the scheduling control system and take part in quality improvement initiatives.
- Carry out additional tasks that support the primary responsibilities.
What You Need:
- Completion of a recognized post-secondary Business Diploma/Technical Diploma or equivalent in a related discipline.
- 2-3 years of experience in resourcing and/or project management services.
- Strong knowledge of resourcing and project management services and processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software.
- Experience with Primavera software is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
- Analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work within demanding schedules.
- Must have a valid BC Driver’s License.
