PLANSis an outdoor program for caregivers and their children agedtwo to five. Emphasis is on physical literacy and exploring the environment.
EveryWednesday 9:00a.m. to1:00p.m.Deliverables/Duties:
Pitch in when and where needed. Enjoy being outdoors with children,running, jumping, skipping, walking as well as singing, reading stories and participating in nature hunts. Knowledge of children's songs and rhymes. Assist with snack prep, set up and clean upQualifications:
Must enjoy beingoutdoors as theprogramfocuses on physical literacy and theenvironment. (rain or shine) Must be prepared to walk, run and skip outdoors with the families. Have an
understanding of children's learning and play needs. Calm and reassuring attitude. Warm and encouraging to children and family members. English and 2nd or 3rd Language appreciated.
Volunteer would come to Purpose at 422 - 6th Street to help prep for programming, then travel to Queensvorought, then back to Purpose with staff.Volunteer skills:
