Personal Assistant and Household Manager

You will be responsible for the support and administration of an Executive. Our client, a Canadian organization in the agriculture industry, is seeking a Personal Assistant and Household Manager to oversee daily routine in both professional and private circles, and supervise household needs, security, transportation, travel, shopping, errands, event management and personal needs. If you are highly organized, able to multitask and keep matters with strict confidentiality, we want to hear from you!

Location: Richmond, BC

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule daily agendas, meetings and appointments
  • Creating excel charts and workflows, proofing agreements, email correspondence, management of documents, databases, etc.
  • Maintenance of office and household and coordinate with external contractors on behalf of the Executive or his family members
  • Coordinate the maintenance and repair of automobiles as required
  • Arrange/book travel, accommodations, transportation and prepare itineraries for the Executive’s personal agenda
  • Conduct personal shopping and other shopping needs
  • Arrange parties, events, visitors as required
  • Prepare monthly expense reports
  • Prepare research for varied topics
  • Driving related errands as required for family members
  • Additional duties as required

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ previous experience in a similar role, supporting multiple senior executives
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple projects from multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask, build strong relationships, manage multiple projects, events and a focus on details in a professional manner
  • Ability to keep matters confidential is required
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, being resourceful, taking initiative and the ability to smoothly handle delicate situations
  • Focused attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A current and valid driver’s license, vehicle and ability to travel with no passport restrictions
  • May be required from time to time to work between the local company offices
  • Team player with a willingness to be flexible with schedules and “pitch in” as required
