As a strategic and innovative thinker, you'll help us to continue the growth and capabilities of the Home Solutions Multicultural Team. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to track performance and results, drive critical insights that support strategies, and lead business cases and analysis for activities that support the growth and retention of our multicultural customers.

The successful candidate will be integral in reporting on key metrics while providing metric development and performance analysis. Keeping on top of industry trends and macro level activities that impact our business is also key to success in this role. The team is looking for someone motivated in helping our business improve through data and metric analysis and inspire our channel teams to drive better results through strategies and activities driven by our data.

Here's how

    •Leading overall strategy and performance tracking via KPIs, scorecard, targets and forecasts •Deep dive analysis on results, challenges and opportunities •Defining and translating customer metrics into a value structure to segment and action •Shaping strategy by measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of different sales and marketing strategies, as levers to impact customer engagement •Surveying the industry, our competitors and the macro environment and analyze how trends, news and changes impact our strategy and overall multicultural base of customers •Forecasting and setting challenging but yet realistic goals for the team •Help drive performance with other TELUS teams by showcasing opportunities through data analysis and business intelligence •Support business case development for broader TELUS projects that impact our multicultural customers


Qualifications:


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Known for your work in analysis, finance, accounting, business, statistics, economics, or equivalent •High business and analytical acumen with ability to influence and partner with stakeholders •With an ability to build complex performance & data models and forecast multi-year business plans and/or help decision making •General knowledge of statistical and data analysis tools and methods to conduct or direct analytical work appropriately •Able to calculate and explain risks and optionality, and making recommendations •Champion of collecting and organizing data from various sources and turning them into actionable strategy and visualizations •Advanced user of MS Excel or Google Sheet (lookups, complex arrays formulas, data modelling, formatting etc.), and ability to report and analyze monthly Key Performance Indicators •Able to handle multiple business asks with competing priority •Able to interact effectively with various teams to communicate information to diverse audiences

Great-to-haves
    •Master of Business Administration (MBA) •Relevant work experience in telecommunications, media, software, tech •Knowledge of multicultural marketing and/or multicultural customers in Canada
