THE OPPORTUNITY Aritzia is growing, and our Talent Acquisition team is growing with it. As the leader of the Retail Talent Acquisition Department, you will lead and motivate the team responsible for acquiring the best people to meet the current and future needs of our fast-growing Retail business. As the VP, Global Retail Talent Acquisition, you will set and drive the strategy for Retail Talent Acquisition at Aritzia, enabling your team to source, assess, impress, and secure world-class Retail Talent, supporting the growth of a dynamic Retail business in both Canada and the US. And, with people at the heart of everything you do, you will support your high-performing teams to build rewarding careers at Aritzia - while enjoying one yourself.
THE ROLE As the VP, Global Retail Talent Acquisition, you will:
- Establish and drive a Retail recruitment strategy and proactive approach of building an effective talent pipeline to support the rapid growth of Aritzia's Retail business
- Drive the strategy and successful execution of staffing new store openings
- Lead the team to source the world's best Retail talent, finding and delivering the right people to put forward for assessment
- Lead the team to inspire candidates with all Aritzia has to offer, exciting them about the role, the company, the city, the career opportunity, and more
- Lead the team to lock in top Retail talent with compelling offers and skillful negotiations
- Source, assess, impress, and secure Executive Retail Talent
- Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience

- Proven and best-in-class skills, education, and significant experience in:
- Building and leading a Retail Talent Acquisition team
- Building a global retail recruitment strategy
- Recruiting executive retail talent

- The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
