THE TEAM

The mission of the People Operations Department is to ensure the seamless running of the day-to-day People & Culture business and initiatives by reducing churn and increasing productivity.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As the leader of the People Operations Department, you will lead and motivate the team responsible for ensuring the most effective and efficient performance of People & Culture functions by defining, upholding, and improving the standards of operational excellence across People & Culture. You will play a pivotal role in championing the seamless execution of key divisional and cross-functional programs and functions through effective operational management of people, process, technology and space. And, with people at the heart of everything you do, you will support your high-potential people to grow rewarding careers at Aritzia-while enjoying one yourself.

THE ROLE

As the Head of People Operations, you will lead the team to:
  • Facilitate the identification, evaluation, prioritization, and resourcing of work across the division
  • Ensure the most important programs are executed perfectly and continuously improved, including our performance review cycle and talent pipeline programs
  • Seamlessly manage each event and represent People & Culture corporately
  • Integrate new infrastructure into and out of the Product Division, and represent the Division's interests cross-functionally
  • Ensure People & Culture tools and space are accessible, functional, organized, and clean to support business needs
  • Provide business-driven, simple, and relevant information to the division
  • Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience
