THE TEAM

The mission of the Labour & Workforce Planning Department is to schedule to match the needs of the business with the optimal talent while controlling labour wastage in support of an incredible employee and client experience.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a leader of the Labour & Workforce Planning department, you will be part of the team responsible for optimizing labour allocation by aligning human capital with the needs of the business. As the Director, Workforce Planning & Labour Optimization, you will play a pivotal role in driving the continuous improvement of the workforce scheduling model by optimizing our productivity standards and validating scheduling logic, enabling the success and growth of our business. THE ROLE

As the Director, Workforce Planning & Labour Optimization, you will:
  • Build and maintain the strategic Retail labour model, including effectively forecasting labour skills and workload to prioritize, sequence and manage the capacity of store teams
  • Oversee the analysis and optimization of scheduling logic, leveraging a variety of validation techniques including beta testing
  • Build and maintain Retail productivity standards, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives
  • Partner with business leaders to identify process improvements to optimize labour productivity while minimizing wastage
  • Function as a stakeholder on cross-functional project teams to deliver key strategic initiatives
