HRBP opportunity with a successful, well-known, and well-respected global company with manufacturing and corporate operations in Vancouver. Open-ended contract to start, with a permanent role available (the most recent HRBP contractor SWIM placed with this company was converted to permanent employment). 

Who- the Company:

Our client is a retail & manufacturing company that has been around a long time and that is very well-known for creating fantastic products that are unique, sustainable, and high quality. They have global operations, and this Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will be working out of Canada’s most significant operation in Vancouver, BC. This is a company you can be proud to work for and to represent, and they have a dynamic work environment.

What- the Role:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be supporting a diverse employee population working in various capacities in operations, manufacturing, production, etc. The portfolio of responsibilities is varied and will include employee relations, rolling out new HR initiatives and processes, talent development, performance management, health & safety (including Covid protocols), etc. The HRBP will report into a Senior Manager and collaborate with HR peers in the corporate head office and in various other locations across the country. This is a contract to start, but there is a good chance for extension or perhaps conversion to permanent employment. Swim Recruiting will provide interested candidates with a thorough job description.

Who- the Candidate:

We are seeking HR professionals with at least 4 years progressive experience in well-rounded HRBP and/or HR Generalist/Advisor type roles. The most important skillset is employee relations, as well as performance management, leadership coaching, HR policies and procedures, etc. Qualified candidates will be friendly and confident communicators. HR education/certification is preferred. Experience working with a complex company with over 1000 employees is very beneficial, as is experience working in manufacturing and/or retail sectors.

How Much:

Hourly consulting rate commensurate with HR experience and skills- please discuss with SWIM! On a permanent basis this role would pay in the neighbourhood of $67,000 to $75,000, plus benefits, product discount, etc.
