Pediatric Physician (regular, full time - 1.0 FTE) Department of Pediatrics Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology & BMT BC Children's Hospital
Reporting to the Division Head, our Clinical Associate Physician position includes direct patient care within the inpatient and outpatient setting - providing care to both pediatric hematology and oncology patients. Responsibilities include participating in team meetings, performing procedures, maintaining patient health records, dictations, and signing off on reports and physician orders in a timely manner and in accordance with the Division and hospital health record policies. A key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will ensure a high level of professionalism and competence expected of a physician.
have a Medical Degree and with eligibility for registration with the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons. Experience in Pediatrics or Pediatric Hematology/Oncology is considered an asset. Candidates should have excellent clinical skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with patients and their families. Possessing a strong commitment to best practice and advancing knowledge, your superb inter-professional skills and experience working in complex and clinical academic sub-specialty environments will ensure your success in this position.
