Our client is an environmental service firm currently looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team. If you have a strong sense of initiative, a keen eye for detail and looking to invest in a fulfilling career within the field, we would love to hear from you today!  

Location: Surrey, BC


  • Oversee all stages of payroll from preparation to distribution
  • Process and verify details of time reporting, pay deductions and earnings and adjustments as needed
  • Confirm and check for accuracy and completion of payroll 
  • Maintain an efficient employee record management system
  • Reconcile statutory deductions and remittances to payroll reports
  • Be able to answer payroll related inquiries from staff and other departments
  • Handle year-end processing, including T4 preparation and annual government reporting requirements
  • Ensure compliance standards are met and recommendations to promote best practices
  • Additional accounting support tasks for Finance team, as required


  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in high volume payroll processing for multiple provinces
  • Completion of a payroll certification is an asset
  • Experience with high-volume biweekly payroll is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with ADP is considered an asset
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite with strong Excel and Data Entry skills required
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Adept at multi-tasking and working under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional eye for detail and high degree of accuracy
