About our Client
Our client, a recognised leader in air conditioning and heating systems has a rare opportunity for an experienced and highly organised Parts Team Leader to join their team in their Lower Mainland offices. This professional will be a trusted adviser to customers and make sure that their needs are met. The main responsibility in this job is to help resolve any issues in regards to parts and equipment, making sure they meet sale standards. The Parts Team Leader will be responsible for the warehouse, overall store/facility and supervise a small team including the counter sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work for a global business who help their employees reach their personal career goals while working in a well-constructed company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly engaging with customers in the warehouse and also on the phone
  • Maintaining current knowledge of products and technical knowledge
  • Occasionally visit external customer to maintain strong relationships
  • Maintain constant awareness of local market pricing and product trends
  • Lead and arrange promotions and customer events
  • Develop, coach other team remembers regularly to achieve goals and targets
  • Work closely with the Operation Leader in regards to performance reviews, issues and training
  • Establish work objectives and plans to manage distribution of work
  • Build a strong sales culture, solutions and reinforcing parts through coaching and training
  • Execute quote and order management processes
  • Develop and execute annual operating plans for the store
  • Making sure the showroom is set up correctly
  • Making sure that store sales goals are met
  • Regularly checking all aspects of warehouse and inventory control including replenishment, stocking, cycle counting, physical inventory, receiving and storage
  • Responsible for will calls
  • Delivering parts to customer location or job sites
  • Managing transfers
  • Having to sometimes work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required


  • A high school Diploma or GED qualification
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales, retail, warehouse or related experience required
  • Must have some knowledge of air conditioning and heating systems
  • Proven customer service and sales skills
  • Must be a strong team leader, with action-oriented skills
  • Must be able to maintain a high energy level during challenging situations
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • A Valid Drivers license
  • Valid Forklift License
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must have basic English language and mathematical skills in order to complete reports, business correspondence, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
