Paralegal - Litigation

Our client is a boutique law firm located in the Heart of Downtown Vancouver. Known for their decades of experience and professionalism, they’ve earned their place at the forefront of the legal industry in British Columbia. They’re looking to add an experienced Paralegal to their team, a perfect opportunity for those looking for long-term stability and to take their career to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 – 5+ years of experience in General Litigation and/or Personal Injury matters.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Administrative: Manage lawyers’ calendar, respond to client inquiries, open and closing high-level files, and other administrative functions as directed
• Writing: Draft, prepare and proofread correspondences and other legal documents as requested. Must have strong grammar, syntax and punctuation.
• Data Entry: Track and record billable times on files
• Other: E-discovery work, as well other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education:

• Paralegal Certification
• A minimum of 3-5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
• Highly organized, detailed oriented and able to multi-task!
• The ability to multi-task and attention to detail
• The ability to proactively manage all administrative functions of the position, including file management
