Excel Personnel has been retained by our client to recruit and  experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join their busy team for a medical leave, contract term is July to September 30, 2021.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • At least 1 to 3 years experience working in a law firm;
  • Legal Assistant or Paralegal Certificate/Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience in commercial litigation for injury being an asset;
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated but also work within a team environment;
  • Conscientious, detail-oriented, efficient, and under pressure to meet deadlines;
  • Exceptional spoken and written English including spelling and grammar;
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (required) BC Online, myLTSA (asset);
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage daily office-related tasks;
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality;
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and manage time;

Full time hours Monday to Friday

Hourly Wage being $24.00 - $31.00/hour depending on experience
