Position Summary

The Order Picking Associate will perform a variety of repetitive tasks in the filling of customer orders.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Follow shelf life policies when picking orders, pull products out of rotation whose shelf life falls below the acceptable amount of days (typically 21 days). Notify supervisor.

Organize picking tickets in priority sequence

• Picking and filling customers’ orders in an accurate, timely, and caring manner
• Picking and packing products gently, watching for both product quality concerns and for damaged vacuum packages (leakers).
• Recording weights correctly, piece counts and box counts on picking tickets
• Passing on any order filling or product quality concerns to Heather Churcher
• Working with others in your department to record incoming inventory, and to organize inventory by product. To rotate product based on best before dates. Oldest
• Completing all administrative tasks in a timely manner
• Other duties as required

Abilities:

• Able to lift up to 22Kgs frequently, and up to 5 feet high
• Able to perform physical tasks that require frequent bending and twisting throughout the shift

Shift is 6am-230pm, Monday-Friday, this is a long term, full time position

On a bus route

Pay: $19/hour to start
