Build on your education and career experience as you:
Reporting to the Manger, Clinical Services, the Orthopaedic Technologist; applies and removes casts under the direction of a physician and performs related orthopaedic duties such as:
    •Set up plaster rooms and carts •Prepare patients for appointments in plaster rooms; clears and restocks supplies as required. •Apply and remove plaster casts, removing sutures, staples, pins and external fixators •Transporting patients to and from Radiology as required to confirm bone alignment. •Sets up traction as requested and monitor equipment operation

Qualifications:
    •Completion of recognized training in Orthopaedic Technology •Current registration with the Canadian Society of Orthopaedic Technologists •Two (2) years' recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
