Job Description

Pita Bread Factory in Burnaby is looking to fill Order Desk position. We are looking for someone who enjoys customer service, is comfortable with computers and can communicate in English fluently.

The main duties will be as follows:

• Receive and process orders from customers via e-mail, phone and fax
• Utilize excel sheets to imports/export, process production sheets and  commercial invoices
• Coordinate deliveries with drivers
• Handle customer inquiries
• Take inventory
• Other administrative tasks: ordering supplies, filing
• Work at retail store to cover breaks, busy times and vacation coverages (heavy lifting, repetitive bending part of the job)


• Previous experience in data entry and customer service (food manufacturing industry experience would be considered an asset)
• Good telephone and email etiquette (fluency in English a must)
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to multitask with accuracy is a must
• Basic knowledge of Word and Outlook; Intermediate knowledge of  Excel
• Experience using a POS machine/debit machine
