Job Description

Horizon Recruitment Inc. is working with a high-volume distribution and fulfillment operation undergoing transformation and growth. We are looking for a driven Operations Supervisor to resolve operational issues on the floor and drive inventory execution and accuracy. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes ownership, and turns direction into action.

Responsibilities:

Take ownership of day-to-day operational issues across the distribution centre, resolving inventory, receiving, and order fulfillment challenges with urgency and accuracy.
Execute inventory movements, and layout adjustments as directed, working across receiving, put-away, and inventory control teams.
Review and resolve inventory discrepancies by investigating, performing secondary checks, and ensuring accurate cycle counts.
Respond to internal requests regarding missing or delayed inventory, ensuring prompt updates to physical stock and system records.
Oversee the handling of damaged or non-conforming goods, ensuring accurate disposition and system reconciliation.
Support the safety, cleanliness, and procedural compliance of the distribution centre through clear communication and example-setting.
Prepare regular reports for senior leadership, contributing operational insight to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution centre operations with a focus on inventory control and issue resolution.
Strong ability to work cross-functionally and implement operational changes in a fast-moving environment.
Experience supporting product slotting, physical inventory execution, and system adjustments.
Proficient in warehouse management systems and inventory reporting tools.
Strong communication skills and an ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
Physically capable of working in a warehouse setting and comfortable with a hands-on role.

Remuneration:

$80,000 – $100,000
