We are looking for someone with Bookkeeping, Simply Accounting and Excel experience.  A background or experience in the Forest and Logging Industry would be an exceptional quality to possess.

Job description:

  • Answering phones and manage messages or direct calls to apporpriate staff
  • Filing for multiple companies
  • Open and sort mail for all companies
  • Post accounts payable
  • Enter employee time sheets for a bi-monthly pay period
  • Reconcile and post credit cards
  • Update and maintain equipment and fleet lists
  • Manage and schedule fleet, corporate, liability and equipment insurance
  • Assist with data entry and other other office duties as needed

Forestry duties:

  • Work closely with management, supervisors and mill staff on new logging blocks and all paperwork, maps and correspondance involved in the logging industry
  • Manage and obtain all permits related to low-bedding and logging
  • Complete and manage safety audits
  • Looking after safety program within the companies, reporting all incidents, close calls and investigations
