A post-secondary institution is searching for an administrative assistant in Burnaby for a 6-12 month contract. $17-18 per hour pending experience

Your new role
The administrative assistant will work to support the office manager with various duties:

  • Reception relief, answering phones, directing clients, receiving and sending couriers - Ordering and managing catering (multiple lunches per week, all staff and smaller meetings)
  • Boardroom set up and clean up from lunches/meetings
  • General office tidiness/cleanliness
  • Manage production room by filling paper daily, managing printer jams, tidying print area
  • Manage kitchen by cleaning coffee machine daily, putting away supplies, cleaning up after lunches, putting away leftover food
  • Printing, scanning, binding, copying as needed
  • General support for administrative team and professionals as needed


What you'll need to succeed
You need to have 1-2 years of administrative, office, or hospitality experience. You are also detail oriented, organized, and personable.

What you'll get in return
