We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic as a dedicated Full Time Occupational Therapist
. This is a multi-site float position for Surrey Memorial Hospital, Langley Memorial Hospital, Peach Arch Hospital and Delta Hospital. Build on your education & career experience as you:
•Provide occupational therapy to clients of all ages with acute, rehabilitative, chronic, and/or palliative health care needs in a community-based setting through assessment, consultation and intervention that promotes functional independence and occupational performance. •Educate clients, caregivers, and staff regarding rehabilitation interventions. •Advocate for clients with community agencies and funding sources. •Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities by assisting with the development, evaluation, and monitoring of policies, procedures and standards related to occupational therapy as well as generating alternative appropriate approaches. •Prescribe and recommend specialized and adaptive aids and equipment to clients for activities of daily living. •Graduated from an approved school of Occupational Therapy. •Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia. •Two (2) years of recent, related clinical experience in community or home health setting. •A valid British Columbia Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for work.
