We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist, Long Term Care/Home Health
in our Long Term Care, Assisted Living & Specialized Population unit
located at Fraser Canyon Hospital
in Hope, British Columbia.
Fraser Canyon Hospital is a 10-bed community hospital in Hope, BC, providing sub-acute, ambulatory and palliative care as well as 24/7 emergency services with 10,498 visits annually.Build on your education and career experience as you:
•Provides occupational therapy to residents for an assigned area with rehabilitative, chronic or palliative health care needs in residential and community-based settings •Collaborate with client/family/caregiver and other health providers to formulate goals and care plans •Identify environmental barriers in the home and make recommendations for modifications •Acts as a client advocate by providing information and liaising with funding agencies and community resources To join our team you have:
•Graduated from an approved school of Occupational Therapy •Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia •Two (2) years of recent, related clinical experience in a residential, community or home health setting •A valid class 5 British Columbia Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for work If this sounds like the perfect role for you, here are more reasons why you should apply:
